CAFE ROI D'OR (2) returned from a spell five weeks ago when he was beaten 3.5 lengths into ninth over 1500m at Sapporo. Has never missed the frame second up. Nicely placed to take this out. CAUCASUS GOLD (16) finished out of the money when fresh from a spell two starts back then was beaten 6 lengths when fifth over 1800m at Chukyo Dirt eight weeks ago. Yet to miss the placings from four starts at this track. The engagement of Y Yoshida is a positive move. Will give a start off the wide draw but charge home late.
