Looks well placed so expect another big run. COMBAT SHUKI (4) has been thereabouts all prep, last time out finishing second over 1400m at this track at the third run back. Has the pace to be in a prominent position from the outset. Expected to be in the finish. NOTO PHOENIX (3) improved last start to finish third over 1400m at this track. Won't find this as tough so he is ready to find the winners' list. PIECES OF THE SKY (6) ran a better race last start, finishing fourth over 1400m at Kasamatsu. Better than recent efforts suggest and worth consideration.
