Moderate pace with Sydney Hobart taking up the running ahead of Bow Window and Shin Dream Shin. BOW WINDOW (1) is a promising galloper who got the prize at her only run last prep 11 weeks ago over 1800m at Niigata. Goes to the next level today but she has been brought along patiently and looks up to the task. TAISEI PRINCESSE (9) settled well back then picked up well in the straight to finish 4 lengths away in ninth last time out over 1800m at Hanshin in the Gr 2 Sho Rose Stakes. Strips fitter and comes back sharply in grade. Serious challenger. SWALLOW CITY (5) was only three lengths away in the TV Tokyo Hai Aoba Sho (Japanese Derby Trial) won by Energico over 2400m at this track at his last appearance five-and-a-half months ago. Well placed for this return to racing - key runner. SYDNEY HOBART (10) returns from a spell of 11 weeks and did win first-up last time in work over 1800m at Hanshin Dirt. Makes plenty of appeal.
