Cats Quarters and Yamba's Girl have enough pace to take up the running from their wide draws.
Lightly raced five-year-old VENDEMMIA (4) has come of age this prep. Went to a new level last start when an easy winner over 1410m at Grafton in a Class 1. Skips a grade today and has not drawn well but that current form is too good to ignore. PHOENIX POWER (2) lost a good early position before finding the line well to be beaten just 1.6 lengths last start over this course and distance. Fitter for two runs back from a spell and gets every chance from an ideal draw. UNCLE HARRY (1) disappointed at Newcastle recently over 1850m when second-up from a spell. Won't find this as hard and can improve at the third run back from a spell. SECRET KEEPER (15) was eight weeks between runs when down the track in a Rosehill Highway last start. Will come on from that run - watch for a much better performance. BATTLEDANCE (12) wasn't far away last time out and from a better gate today can play a big role. SUGGESTED PLAY: Vendemmia to win again.
