Bonita Queen to take charge ahead of Gangsta Granny at a good tempo.
GANGSTA GRANNY (6) ran the Epsom winner to a half-length when resuming two back. That effort may have flattened her as she was unable to pick up behind Manaal in the Sheraco over this course and distance last start. Given a four-week break so she should be nice and fresh now. Perfectly drawn - this looks her race to lose. The danger is IN FLIGHT (3) who was eight weeks between runs when a respectable sixth to gun sprinters Headwall and Lady Shenandoah in the 1000m Concorde last time out, beaten under two lengths. Getting a strong 1200m the only query. BAUHINIA (15) returned an excellent figure when runner-up to Idle Flyer over 1400m here recently. Back in trip but gets a nice smother from gate two and will be powering late. MONTE SUPREME (14) has been unstoppable this prep since switching to Bjorn Baker. Huge step up in class here but she deserves her chance. INFANCY (1) resumes. Opened last prep with a win in the Gr 2 Sapphire Stks. Gives them all weight but should be prominent. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gangsta Granny to win.
