Genuine tempo with the speedy Midnight Edition leading the way. MIDNIGHT EDITION (7) will have a fitness edge over some of his main rivals, after winning fresh up at Te Rapa, and then finishing runner-up there 15 days ago by less than a length. She is likely to work across to try and find a handy spot from a wide gate, and with the right trip, he can take this out. TWAIN (2) is an up-and-coming sprinter who was close up on the G2 Foxbridge Plate in his penultimate start, before finishing second at Te Rapa last time out. He is perfectly drawn and is sure to be challenging in the run home. GRAIL SEEKER (9) is a 2-time G1 winner ready to hit form. Don't risk her. WHISKEY 'N ROSES (8) beat the top pick when resuming, and looks set for a rewarding season. The only negative here is the inside draw, which by this time of the day could be a negative. GOSPODIN (4) was third at big odds last start, and can figure in the top 3 again at juicy place money. SUGGESTED PLAY: Midnight Edition will be hard to hold out.
