Plenty of speed engaged with Miss Emma, Urafiki and Ronny Rock Art going forward ahead of Acheson and Peruno. Wide open race. MY LAST HOORAY (11) made late ground to finish third in open company over 1000m at Canberra recently. That was his first run in 16 weeks so there is room for improvement, particularly out to this more suitable journey. Should get a nice sit behind the pace and this looks a lovely race for him. FOURCADE (10) has a strong top three strike rate at this circuit. Returned from an eight-week let-up with a very close fourth over 1210m here last start. Up in class but should give a good account at big odds. Veteran CAVALIER CHARLES (1) returns for a tenth campaign. Has won first-up three times in the past. Getting on now but he is the class runner and still has plenty to offer at this level. ASSOCIATE (8) resumes. Good miler/middle distance performer who was widely travelled last prep and performed well in a couple of Highways. Can feature. ALOTTOSAY (12) is flying this prep, with her two wins since resuming both coming here. Difficult to fault as she races through the grades. SUGGESTED PLAY: Something on My Last Hooray and a saver on Fourcade.
