The pace looks strong from the outset. CAPSULE (4) has recorded four minor placings from six runs this campaign. Continued the trend last start when third over 1200m at this track. Worth noting Genta Ochiai goes aboard. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he cannot be underestimated. DRUNK MAN (6) returned from a spell a week-and-a-half ago when he was 11th over 1200m at Hakodate. Ideally placed and can play a pivotal role in this suitable assignment. DER FLUG (8) sat close to the pace last time out but faded to finish fourth over this journey at this track. Genuine chance. GEKU (7) has missed the frame at his last couple of outings, the latest when ninth over 1000m at Hakodate Dirt. Worth another chance at this level.
