FRENCH TRIP (3) wasn't far away last time and is edging towards a win, the latest effort a solid second over 1900m at this track. Likely to go forward from a nice draw. Best form puts him right in this. POSITIVE ATTITUDE (7) was safely held when third last time out over 2200m at this track, beaten 5 lengths. That followed a win at Greyville All Weather at the previous outing. Beautifully placed and is sure to play a pivotal role. JOHNNY THE THIEF (10) turned in a much better effort last time out to score by 0.9 lengths over 1900m at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish again.
