Anticipating a stack of early pressure over the sprint course with many of these lining up for the first time. HOT STATEMENT (8) is a Written By gelding stepping out on debut for the smart juvenile stable of Richard & Chantelle Jolly. Showed positive signs in his jump-out and is drawn favourably for gun hoop Jake Toeroek. Bright start anticipated. SACRED CHORD (3) has been solid without threatening in his two runs back. Strips fitter third-up and is drawn to get all the favours with Holder taking over the steering. Can give this a shake. RADIANT KNIGHT (2) finds the maiden win elusive but has shown some positive signs. Strips rock-hard fit and deserves some thought. I RUN ON AIR (1) is a Turffontein gelding on debut for Roslyn Day. Fitter for a recent trial placing and looks among the hopes. SUGGESTED PLAY: Siding with Hot Statement on debut.
