There should be a bit of early pressure with Yosshi Stage and Riko Leopard going forward in advance of Meisho Izo and Canotier. YOSSHI STAGE (9) has been in the placings at his last two starts, finishing third last time over 1400m at this track. Nicely placed to give this a mighty shake. RIKO LEOPARD (3) displayed plenty of early toe over 1000m at Monbetsu last time and went on to score by half a length. Well placed and can go on with it. COVINHA (5) started at $7.10 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth at Monbetsu over 1200m. In the mix. KURINO GENIUS (8) made progress last time out, finishing third over 1400m at this track. Has his share of ability and finds a suitable race.
