Weekend Warrior and King Halston have sufficient early speed to position at the head of the field. GRUELLING (7) has had a run of placings but put the writing on the wall last start when charging home to just miss. Strips rock-hard fit and likes this track and trip. 3kg claimer staying on gets him in well at the weights again and he takes benefit from another low draw. A lot to like. MADISON KATE (2) has been far from her best in her two runs back but showed last prep that she's an above-average galloper on her day. Strips fitter third-up and has a hot-hand hoop in Neindorf sticking. Watch for sharp improvement. PROBATE (5) continues to leave herself with too much to do when straightening. Strips fitter and gets the chance to take closer order from the inside alley. Don't dismiss. SAKASU (1) made very light work of his maiden last time at Murray Bridge. Tougher this time but he can go on with it. SUGGESTED PLAY: Gruelling gets the nod. Saving on Madison Kate.
