They are sure to run this at a sharp gallop, with Baracca's Choice potentially joined by one or more of the strong representation of first starters. Tricky race. BELCONY (2) hasn't been beaten far in three career runs to date, finishing fourth in a strong maiden at Pakenham last time out. She should get a good run and be thereabouts. DIOSA (5) resumes having started at $6.50 on debut in town, well beaten on that occasion. Can improve sharply this time in. BARACCA'S CHOICE (1) might be worth another chance off an even debut effort when hard in the market. CILACAP (4) trialled well and then was a respectable third on debut at Seymour over 1300m. Expect improvement on that effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: Belcony on top.
