GOING: G(4)

R & G ELECTRICAL AND DATA COUNTRY BOOSTED BENCHMARK 58 HANDICAP 1200m

Track: GOOD 4   Clear (Max: 18)   Rail: True.

Strong early tempo from Getty. Speed machine GETTY (4) won first-up at Canberra and has led for home but been claimed in two subsequent runs, all at 1000m. Gets to this trip for the first time. Very fit and will give them something to catch. DENI GAL (9) copped an early check before rallying late to get up for second in an eye-catching performance over 1100m at Nowra last time out. Best form comes at today's trip. Definite threat. DEEP SHIMMER (6) closed well to be beaten under a length when resuming over 1008m at the Sapphire Coast recently. Down a little in grade and ideally placed out to this trip. SAIKO (2) has found the line well in his two runs this time in work. Drawn to advantage and looks sure to be in the finish. SEAL TEAM SIX (5) won here at this distance last prep. Can improve. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Getty to get a strong 1200m and win the last.
