LOVE AND HOPE (8) was again denied last start when she found one better over 1500m at Nagoya. Has the class to get the job done here. SHOBUUN (1) finished fifth over 1400m at this track last start after lifting strongly to score two back. Strong record with Tatsuya Watanabe aboard, including three wins. Likely to feature. SATONO PATHOS (7) recorded his maiden win six back and is ready to score again after a couple of recent minor placings, the latest when second at Nagoya. Should be involved in the finish. ACE OF SPADES (3) raced on pace for much of the way before fading in the straight to finish sixth over 1400m here last time. Can sneak into the top three.
