A strong gallop is likely with T's A Light and Love Me Monroe taking up the running, closely attended by Glaciares and Straight Beam. SITHEP (4) turned in a fine effort to win by 3.5 lengths at today's track and distance when resuming from a spell last start. No reason he cannot salute again. LOVE ME MONROE (10) resumes after a break of six months. Did win at her only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 1200m at this track. Likely to take beating. T'S A LIGHT (9) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4.5 lengths when fourth over 1600m at this track three weeks ago after being prominent at the turn. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. STRAIGHT BEAM (3) raced close to the lead before clearing out to score an effortless 2.5 lengths win over 1200m at this track last time. Cannot be underestimated.
