Reasonable tempo with Shadow Castle probably leading but a few others should keep him honest. SHADOW CASTLE (5) has not appeared since he finished eighth over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt on December 13. Has switched to the Daisuke Mashima stable. Expect him to play a major role. RIKO TERRIER (3) did a great job to score by 1.75 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a spell last time out. Meeting a tougher field but on her best form she is good enough to cope. LEGEND WAY (13) pushed forward from a wide draw last start and found a position close to the lead before sticking on well to finish second over 1400m at this track. Meeting a deeper field this time but he deserves his chance. KEN VIVALDI (10) has put together back-to-back placings, the latest when a nose away in second over 1200m at this track. Likely to be about the mark again.
