MORNING MAGIC (13) comes here off a break of four months. Placed only other try when fresh when over 1600m at this track. Comes here with definite claims. SANTA ANITA (2) was well in commission when resuming last start over 1200m at Nakayama Dirt when second, beaten 3 lengths. Winning rider Keita Tosaki sticks. Jumped from wide out last time but much better draw here. Expected to measure up. MERCI JE T'AIME (6) closed last prep ten weeks ago when she finished eighth over 1800m at Niigata Dirt. Has won fresh. Definite claims.
