Looks to be plenty of pace with American Cool and Houyhnhnm battling for the lead. AMERICAN COOL (8) opened this prep with a win two runs ago but couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 1300m at this track. Ignore last start. Worth another chance. HOUYHNHNM (5) was safely held two back on the JRA circuit then appreciated the easier company last time and led throughout to score over 1300m at this track. Finds a suitable assignment and is among the leading chances. ABENDSONNE (4) recorded a gutsy maiden victory last time out over 1300m at this track, scoring by a nose. Looks well placed and she is a great chance to go back-to-back. SAIMON GRIT (7) made progress last time out, finishing 3.5 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 1300m at this track. Has his share of talent and is a top-three prospect.
