Street Maschino and Boab Boy will likely pair off in front. BOAB BOY (1) is knocking on the door of a drought-breaking win, just missing out in a similar race at Kalgoorlie 20 days ago. Everything points to a forward showing once more with an inside barrier and handy 3kg claim. Can jump, lead, and give his rivals something to chase. WHO'S YOUR MAMA (2) disappointed up in trip last start at Carnarvon but was in good touch prior at this distance range. She maps for a cosy run from a midfield position and if she can bounce back to her best form, she'll go mighty close in the cup. DANCING JACK (5) is better than he's shown his past couple, though he has been contesting much stronger races than this. Back to the mile today is some query, but he's been effective in this grade prior and he's sure to be in the finish again. MONEY FOR OLD ROPE (4) is not out of this with the rise in trip suiting. HIS EMINENCE (6) has claims on the back of a nice performance last start. SUGGESTED PLAY: Boab Boy gets the nod.
