GOING: G

Sportsbet Might And Power 2000m

Track: GOOD 4   Rain (Max: 14)   Rail: True Entire Circuit.

Globe should spear straight to the front of the small field. Very small field for our first G1 of the day, and that probably plays into the hands of TREASURETHE MOMENT (5) the most. The first up win in the G1 Memsie Stakes was electric before suffering a colic attack and subsequent setback. There was nothing wrong with her second to Pride Of Jenni in the G2 Feehan last time and she looks right back on track, with her turn of foot tracking the leader likely to come to the fore. BUCKAROO (2) is the obvious danger. Both runs back have been excellent and he did explode third up to win the G1 Underwood Stakes this time last year. If J-Mac can be positive and attempt to pocket Treasure drawn inside he's absolutely good enough. GLOBE (4) is the likely leader and going very well, he'll give them something to catch. HEZASHOCKA (3) rounds them out, he surely won't be sharp enough at this level. SUGGESTED PLAY: Treasurethe Moment on top.
