Despite the small field Fortress Australia, Rubunkar and Master Montaro can set a strong tempo. Tough. THISLAND IS MYLAND (5) was quickly back on track leading narrowly beaten at Mackay. He maps to advantage and has been kept on the fresh side. This looks a winnable assignment. JEMELDI (2) went close at Mackay two weeks ago and then stalked the speed just out of a place at Townsville. The Mackay effort stacks up and he deserves another chance for an in-form stable. DOUBTING EYE (6) resumes and has trialled well. He's proven fresh and would be very competitive if presented on song. MASTER MONTARO (1) has been in the market at his last couple of starts but hasn't made an impression, last start running eighth at Mackay. Rates as a place chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Going with Thisland Is Myland.
