GOING:

HORSE TRANSPORT LTD 2000m

Track: AW     True

San Simeon to take the lead and control the tempo. SAN SIMEON (2) made a quick mid-race move and fought on gamely to finish third here nearly 3 weeks ago. He has a superior gate this time, and this field is not strong at all. Hard to beat this time. ORANGE RIVER (6) ran a much better race in a stronger field here last week when finishing fifth. She won't have to improve by much to be a top 3 chance this time. AKCELERANT (3) was not too bad last time out and will have the services of leading hoop Craig Grylls this time, which is an advantage, so expect something even better this time. Include in all combinations. THE BOSS GIRLS (8) has been well in the market in her last couple of starts and has been looking for more ground. She gets her chance to show some decent form in this field. Each-way value. BEST DRESSED (7) battled away fairly well last time out against most of these. A 4kg claim will help, and she is not the worst in a modest contest. SUGGESTED PLAY: The Boss Girls to be a solid each-way chance in this.
