GOING: H

Matthews Petroleum Highweight Handicap 1700m

Track: Heavy 8   Clouds (Max: 15)   Rail: Out 4m Entire Circuit. (Pent: 5.79)

They should run this along with Yorkel and Cleitus taking it up over Star Canto. Typically tricky high-weight handicap to piece together. CLEITUS (2) has been a model of consistency of late, running 4th in tougher grade at Morphettville last time, beaten 2.75 len. That looks to have him well primed for today's assignment. ASTRADEEL (1) hasn't been far away in tougher grade since resuming from a spell, and should be ready to land a big blow third-up. PURVEYOR (3) drops down from Bm 70 grade for this and rates as one of the main chances. YORKEL (5) ran 3rd at Moe when last seen beaten less than 2 len, and should be somewhere in the mix. STAR CANTO (6) is on the way up and has more upside than most of these, so keep her safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: Tricky today, but putting CLEITUS on top.
