Good pace early on with Whafeef and Medlers Tart showing out with Duke Of Sussex also applying pressure from an outside gate. ANOTHER LEVEL (5) has shown good signs of a form return in his last two starts. He stayed on when fourth over 1400m last time. He won his only attempt on this course. He should have no issues with the rise to 1800m and can return to winning form. THE BRIEF (6) was an easy winner of his last start over 2000m at Turffontein. He has won twice and finished second once from five starts over this distance. He does have a wide draw of 12 to overcome, but S'manga Khumalo retains the ride and he should give him all the necessary assistance needed from the saddle. WHAFEEF (1) should have finished closer to the winner last time as he clipped heels at the 700m mark. He has won once, finished second once and third once from four starts on this course. With luck in the running should finish in the money. MILLAHUE (11) was below par last time when finishing fifth over 2000m at this track but he has a solid record at the third run in. One of the chances based on his best recent efforts.
