Solid tempo with Kafuji Taurus leading from Kitano Ryan and Katsuno Thank You. JO A LA MODE (2) was allowed to drift back from a wide draw last time out then found the line strongly to grab second over 1200m at this track. Will be tough to hold out again. BONIFACIO (3) settled well back at this course and distance last time but did find the line nicely to finish fourth, beaten 2 lengths. Leading player. KAFUJI TAURUS (9) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and was there until straightening when beaten 3 lengths into sixth over 1200m at this track. Form at this distance is strong with 12 wins from 17 starts and is one of the contenders. KITANO RYAN (7) ran a better race last start to finish a close third over 1200m at this track after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Nicely placed to maintain his form.
