Plenty of pace likely from Kentucky Blue, Safe Hustle and Bonny Rock battling for the lead from Tycoon Demon. SAFE HUSTLE (7) sat close to the speed last start and exploded, running away for an emphatic victory over the 1100m journey. Rises in weight here, but he rates highly on what he did last start and 1200m is no issue. Can repeat the dose. SURE NO SOMETHING (1) was doing the chasing behind Safe Hustle last start and was best of the rest there after getting back in the run. Importantly, there's still some improvement to come here third-up and he meets Safe Hustle much better at the weights. Can turn the tables here. BONNY ROCK (5) comes back to this trip today after tiring out of the race over 1400m last time out. All 4 of her career victories have come at the 1200m journey and Derrick has options from the draw. Can put her best foot forward. TYCOON DEMON (4) disappointed last time out but was much better here two back. Not to be discounted. GOLD SPY (6) can improve sharply second-up and with a much better draw today. SUGGESTED PLAY: Safe Hustle can go back-to-back.
