Solid tempo likely from Glorafilia and Ark Kay. DANCE FOR HER (6) finished ninth on an unsuitable holding track over 1600m at Te Rapa two weeks ago. The key here is the step up to 1950m, and with the right run, she can have the last say. Watch for her late GLORAFILIA (9) finished a solid fifth over 2000m at Cambridge on the poly track last start, and she was fourth there before that. She will be happy to be back on a turf surface, and with a gear change, she is ready to put her best hoof forward in this. ARK KAY (3) broke his maiden when resuming over 1600m at Te Aroha, getting the job done by a head. He is a lot stronger this season and has the advantage of being trained on the track. Stick with him on an each-way basis. WITH GRACE (13) found the track too heavy at Otaki just over 2 weeks ago after winning her maiden at Taupo before that. She is worth another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Ark Kay could be at some each-way value.
