The pace looks very strong with plenty of speed engaged. FRENCH DOLL (9) resumes from a spell after winning her last 3 starts on the bounce. While she hasn’t won fresh, she has two minor placings, and with a couple of trials under her belt, she will be ready to rumble. Watch the market flucs. ERIN GO BRAGH (7) is a progressive gelding resuming after a third-place finish as favourite over 1600m at Te Rapa in late April. He has been to the fore in both of his tune-up trials, and he also boasts a perfect first-up record from two starts. Hard to beat. HONEY BADGER (6) is knocking on the door for another win after coming from well back to finish second last start over 1200m at this track. She is in a good space, and a wide gate won't stop her from running her usual honest race. CYPRESS (3) has come a long way in a short time and was a bold third over 1200m at this track just over a fortnight ago. The wetter the better for him, and he can figure in the top 3 again. TOLSTOY (2) won easily in this grade last start. He rises 3kg, but stick with him. SUGGESTED PLAY: Cypress to run another big race, each way.
