Expecting a genuine tempo. TAKE THE RAP (3) was well in commission last start over this trip at Canberra but didn't quicken as hoped and finished midfield. Draws away from the fence this time which may be beneficial. Best form reads well so worth another chance. CANI CANCAN (6) made it three minor placings on the trot when an eye-catching third over this trip at Kembla recently. This track can play for swoopers - she will get back but gets her chance. FANGELA (2) ran on well and finished alongside Take The Rap when resuming in Canberra a fortnight ago. Won at his only visit here and does go well second-up so his credentials are solid. STARLIGHT GIRL (5) should race close to the speed this time and can improve on the first-up effort. REBEL DEAN (7) is very firm in early markets. Back in class today after going around in Highways of late. Likely improver in this company. SUGGESTED PLAY: Very hard race - small interest in Take The Rap.
