A solid tempo is on the cards with Kakia and Night Action pushing for the lead ahead of Creative Licence and Mcsweyn. KAKIA (2) held on well to finish third last time out over 1350m on the synthetic after leading for much of the way. Went just as well at Hobart first-up and is well-placed. Will take catching. GEE GEES ME BOY (4) brings strong form to resumption. He's won 2/4 fresh and has trialled well. The leading hoop is reunited and a bold return is on the cards. ONLY OLD ONCE (1) placed on the synthetic and will be better for it. Maps well and the 2kg claim brings her into it. CRAZY ATOM (11) returns from a short freshen. Has been kept ticking over with a comfortable trial win here. Rates highly at best and has to be kept safe. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Kakia.
