Solid tempo with Lord Akomeed possessing the dash to work to the lead. LORD AKOMEED (4) led all the way to score first-up over 1000m at Taree then tried to repeat the feat when stretched to 1262m at the same track last start but tired late. Will take a lot from that run and should prove much tougher to catch this time. DREAMS OF THUNDER (5) raced up on the speed but couldn't finish off over this trip at Taree last time out. Form before that was sound so from a far better gate today she deserves another chance. TSUNODA (2) broke through recently at his fifth start, winding up powerfully to win with a bit in hand over 1205m at Coffs Harbour. Lightly raced and capable of taking this next step. ORSUM (6) has found the line well to fill a minor placing at his two runs this prep. Won third-up when last in work so expect he will peak today. SNEAKY RICH (3) won his maiden at massive odds last start. Tougher today but he is sparingly raced and should keep progressing. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lord Akomeed is great each-way value.
