Moderate pace only with Gossip leading Early One's. NIGHTOWL (1) is knocking on the door for his first win, and was beaten by a nose as the favourite at Whanganui 11 days ago. He meets a modest field, and should get the job done again. GOSSIP (7) has been patiently handled and will have her first run from the Johno Benner stable. She steps up to a mile, and with some luck from a wide gate, she will close to taking this out. INCHIGEELAGH LASS (8) has had a couple of starts that have been well spaced, and was third on heavy ground earlier in the year. She resumes from a spell as a winner of the latest of 3 trials, and she will be running on strongly in this. Each way. UNUSUAL INVADER (10) finished third by less than a length when making her debut at Waipukurau just over 3 weeks ago. Stick with her. Can win. SUGGESTED PLAY: Nightowl should be the one to beat.
