Strong pace with Sun Master, Shaquila and Chookster pushing forward, closely attended by Mr Invincible and Pattera. PATTERA (3) gets his chance in this mediocre affair. Returned to form last start with a very close second in a Class 2 over this trip at Grenfell. Only needs to hold that performance level to give this a mighty shake. CHOOKSTER (7) tackled a $50k picnic race at Dubbo last start and wasn't disgraced at big odds. Worth noting Wendy Peel is back aboard - she has three wins from four rides on this gelding. Ready to peak now at the third run back. SHAQUILA (2) is going well on the picnic circuit including a big win at Geurie two back. Distance specialist who should be in the finish with the help of a perfect draw. THE FAVORITE SON (6) turned in a nice effort when resuming at Leeton last time and can build on that performance. LOCKADENTE (9) returned to form at Grenfell last start and from the inside gate is definitely a contender. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Pattera and Chookster.
