Plenty of pace from the outset with Strong and New Beginning leading the charge. PERSONA (11) did not do anything last start, but is far better than that. He form was good before that, and the addition of concussion plates will give her more cushion off the track. She has a good draw and can make amends. LIGHT OF PLUTUS (6) capped off some fine form with an overdue win at Phar Lap racecourse 17 days ago. He won't find this much harder, and despite a wide gate, he will be right in the finish. ROSSO (2) is a promising gelding resuming from a spell, after having his last run at Sandown-Lakeside in early August. He will want more ground shortly, but don't write him off in this. DIORESSENCE (12) needed her fresh up run, and her only win did come second up from a spell. Include in all combinations. SUGGESTED PLAY: Persona at each way value.
