Launceston   03 Oct 2025

GOING: S(5)

Ladbrokes Supporting ROCT Class 1 Hcp 1100m

Track: Soft 5   Rain (Max: 17)   Rail: True.

Genuine tempo from Prince Of Khatun leading It's Jagger Time. CRACK THE SHUTTERS (2) resumes and looks forward enough following a convincing Launceston trial win. Comes off a decent effort in Listed grade and count on Darmanin to manage the awkward gate. Rates strongly and is the one to beat. PRINCE OF KHATUN (5) was an effortless Maiden winner first-up on the synthetic. Is lightly raced and has plenty of scope for improvement. This is tougher but he is capable of another big run. ANTHEIA (7) will strip fitter for this after running below expectations first-up at Hobart. Keeps the handy 2kg claim and she's a second-up winner with more to give. SIR JAG (13) resumes and hasn't been far away including a placed effort here last time over 1400m at this track. Backmarker who gets home hard. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Crack The Shutters.
