She lost a length leaving the start and stayed on well at the finish. She is a progressive type and in this field, she can shed her maiden tag. ECHO (10) finished third on the polytrack last time. Her penultimate run when second over 1400m at Greyville catches the eye. Apprentice Dezahn Louw takes 4kgs off her back and with a bit of luck in the running she should pose a threat. PROMISE OF FIRE (9) is better than her last two starts would suggest. If putting her best foot forward, she should be involved at the finish.
