Without a recognised leader, Valadore and Boom Bunny will likely set the pace. VALADORE (8) has been plying her trade in harder races down south and will appreciate the drop back in company here. Rock-hard fit now fourth-up from the break and will be right there when the judge calls a halt. MIGHTY CONQUEROR (2) is at the races for the first time but has placed in both local trials and this is not an overly strong affair. Respect any market push. VAN DER WOODSEN (9) has the most race experience in this line-up and gets some weight relief with the 1.5kg claim. Can earn some minor money. ONLY CRUNCHIE (3) importantly draws the inside alley here on debut and may feature in the finish. JOT GIRL (6) next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Valadore to break the maiden status.
