Strong tempo assured with Rich Star and Mashean leading the way over Kobi Express. MASHEAN (10) is another strong winning chance for the sharp Archibald yard. Has placed 4/5 and was quickly back on track leading and placing at the Sunshine Coast. The well-bred filly won't know herself in country grade and is sure to take a stack of beating. ARCHIE MAXIMUS (4) resumes gelded for the in-form Matt Dunn yard and has looked sharp at the trials. He'll come back improved and will get every chance from an inside barrier. RICH STAR (2) resumed and was prominent from the outset when missing a nose at this track as a $2.1 favourite. Had just missed at the track heavily bet prior and may control the race from the inside barrier. Fitter and is sure to give a big sight. JENNIBELLE (7) is on debut and won her most recent trial. Pay to watch the market with her. SUGGESTED PLAY: Mashean to win.
