Strong tempo from Solidude, Li'l Rex and Gorbachev. GORBACHEV (3) resumes and is a progressive galloper. Won a Gosford Maiden fresh two back and was spelled off a 1L defeat at Wyong in stronger than this. Has been switched north by the Freedman yard, and a bold run is likely. BLITZUM (2) is back from a spell and won first up last campaign over 1200m at Ipswich. Has trialled twice and his best figures stack right up. BRUCKHEIMER (4) deserved his Maiden win here heavily bet and has scope for further improvement. Maps well on a quick back-up and gets weight relief with a 3kg claimer engaged. SOLIDUDE (6) found plenty when winning by half a length two runs back at this track. Suited for this race and can contest SUGGESTED PLAY: Gorbachev appeals most.
