First Class Baby and Geemes will settle forward and can set a moderate tempo. Scratchings have obliterated this race, leaving only three runners. Of them, Kembla-trained GEEMES (3) is on top. Switched stables and despite running favourite looked a run short at Moruya first-up. Had come off Stakes grade and will be a lot sharper stepping up to the mile. Has an inside gate and is well-placed to be winning. FIRST CLASS BABY (2) is a local who can build on her easy maiden win at Nowra over 1400m. Races forward and will get every chance to run out the extra metres. TIME FOR SNOW (9) raced a short-priced favourite and disappointed behind the above in that contest. Must be showing something and gets another chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Backing Geemes.
