Beats Of War is likely to take charge and set a decent tempo. LYRICAL ANGEL (7) had her hoof on the till, going under in a photo finish last start over this trip at Belmont and that form looks strong for this event. Her form at this distance range is fantastic and if she can sit a little closer than she did last time out, she looks set to go one better. EMERALD TRADER (6) flew home in good splits in that same race behind Lyrical Angel, hitting the line locked together. He hasn't won for a long time and the draw is a query, but getting to Ascot may suit him now. Watch for him flying late in the race. ANTIQUE STAR (2) won well two back before a 0.3L defeat over 1650m at Belmont when on the 7-day turnaround. She jumps right up to the 2200m now which is a query, but she's racing well and is expected to be in the finish if she can see out the trip. LOMBADINA (5) disappointed last start but was very good two back. Can bounce back. KEGGS LATER (8) is knocking on the door and should be hitting his peak now. Live chance. SUGGESTED PLAY: Lyrical Angel can get the job done.
