Not a great deal of pressure likely in the small field, with Hey Bull a potential leader. BEDOUIN VILLA (2) felt the pinch late when up in trip last start at Kalgoorlie, finishing a long way off. That was also in tougher grade, with his maiden performance two back over the mile very impressive. Can roll forward from the gate and make every post a winner. HEY BULL (3) is another speed horse engaged, though his record over the mile is a query. Can roll forward from the gate however and if he's able to dictate up front, he'll be hard to run down. FRIES WITH THAT (5) steps up to 1600m today on the back of a strong performance over 1200m at Mt Magnet last time out. He may need some luck in the run, but the rise in trip is no issue and he's expected to be in the finish if he runs to his recent figures. ZERA BLUE (7) should get her chance back in trip and from a good barrier. GRECE LIGHTNING (1) is next best. SUGGESTED PLAY: Bedouin Villa gets the nod.
