Expecting a strong tempo over this journey. DELAGO LAD (1) went forward when resuming last start over 1200m at this track and held on well for second beaten a head as favourite. In a suitable race and can go on to take this out. EXPERT WITNESS (2) resumes off an Open win and flies fresh. He will run along from an inside gate and a bold return is likely. ALTAR BOY (3) started at $3.90 last time on the back of a win at this track but was below his best over 1600m. Looks better placed back to a sprint and has to be considered. BOY BIG (5) was comfortably accounted for last time but had won easily the one before. Keeps the 2kg claim and can't be ruled out on the bounce. KICKATORP (4) was good two back and is in the mix on that effort. SUGGESTED PLAY: With Delago Lad.
