Strong tempo from Karburan, Thurmond and Highland Bling. Over the 3000m here and HIGHLAND BLING (1) goes on top having won well at Flemington over 2550m second up at just his 11th career start. The pace was strong there with the field strung out and the former import's stamina came to the fore to win well. He'll eat up the trip and could just be too good again. KARBURAN (2) was well fancied in the Highland Bling race and stuck on very well when sitting close to the speed, beaten 4.5 lengths. Not sure he has the upside of that horse but he'll be on speed and the scenario could favour him far better. JENNY THE BEAVER (8) has been thereabouts her past two and will be grinding away late. THURMOND (6) had his colours lowered last time but had been flying prior and can bounce back. SUGGESTED PLAY: Highland Bling to win.
