Without on-pacers engaged it may turn into a sprint home. DAVID MOSS (1) bounced back into winning form last start, securing a narrow win by a neck over 1600m at Wingatui when sustaining a big run from the rear of the field. He stays in the same class with only an extra kilo to carry, and if he can secure another uninterrupted run, he can repeat the dose. RATHMACARTHY (2) was doing his best work late, fresh up over 2000m when finishing sixth, at Gore 12 days ago. The extra furlong will suit him, and it won't be long before he wins his first race in NZ. SECRET WISH (5) was the favourite last time out and finished fourth in a similar field to this over 2000m at Gore. She has been thereabouts for some time and is a must for all combinations. WILD JAKKAL (4) has found it hard to win another race and most recently finished runner-up over 2000m at Gore. He has been placed twice from 4 starts here, and can plod on into a top 3 spot this time. GENTLE BEN (3) made ground late when resuming from a spell, and has winning form on this track. Include.
