The trio Bomber Bay, Action America and Casino King will set a strong tempo. Moderate race where ACTION AMERICA (4) gets chance. Was runner-up over a mile two back before dropping back to seven furlongs last time and finishing third. Suited back up in trip and going well enough to break through in this. BOMBER BAY (2) ran a much improved race last time when out to 2000m and finishing a close second. Placed 4/7 this trip and with leading rider going aboard expected to go close. CASINO KING (5) has been racing over sprint journeys and may well be needing the longer trip now. Gets chance to improve sharply. TWO FOR THE BOYS (1) had some decent runs behind him last campaign before form tapered off and went for a spell. Trip suits fresh and can return with a big run.
