Expecting Ricki Faith to find the lead but there will be plenty of pressure over the sprint course. HERO IN CHIEF (11) is coming off a last-start fourth, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 1400m at this track. Well placed and should be tough to beat. FUKUNO FOUDRE (6) is back at the races for the first time since December 6. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last prep over 1000m at Monbetsu. Rates highly and should take some beating. RICKI FAITH (8) resumes after a break of eight months. Did win at her only other first-up run when on debut, scoring over 1200m at this track. Likely to take beating. SABUNO KOIGOKORO (4) booted up from the inside draw to sit on the speed last start then went on to register a determined win by a head at this track over 1200m. Winning rider Takayuki Yano stays aboard. Among the top-three hopes.
