Genuine tempo from Parnassus leading Hellish. HELLISH (5) gave a great sight last start when only collared late when a close third over 1406m at Terang. Fitter again here and dropping back slightly in distance looks ready to give a bold sight. Hard to beat. INJAIR (2) didn't shirk his task when running on for fourth first-up at Geelong. Started favourite last start when seventh at Geelong and can bounce back and make his presence felt here. AMAHLOSI (1) resumes for just his second start and first start since September. Hit the line well for fifth over 1800m in only previous appearance and with blinkers on here he can run a bold race fresh. PARNASSUS (3) showed improvement from first-up to second-up when he battled on well for third at Geelong last start and with added fitness he can be in this for a long way. From a nice draw POEMS (10) can give some cheek second-up. SUGGESTED PLAY: Hellish on top.
