Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a spell last time in work over 1100m at Monbetsu. Now under the care of new trainer Tadaaki Hashimoto. Capable of playing a major role. PRESLEY (2) finished 2.5 lengths from the winner in fifth last start over 800m at this track, an improvement on his first-up eighth at Funabashi the run before. Out in trip and can go on with it. VIP LUKE (6) missed the frame last start over 1500m at Nagoya, finishing seventh. Finds a nice race and can play a significant role. MIDNIGHT FLY (5) bounced back to form with a third place run at this track after a less-than-encouraging ninth at Sonoda two back. Can keep form and looks ready to run well again.
